The CostEng products were born from the Estcon Estimating Consulting company which has consulted to the multi-national industrial development world since 1981.

CostEng recognized that that what estimators were looking for was not just a good software tool but also reliable reference databases of manhours in order to quickly build capital cost estimates in a reliable and consistent manner.

The ideal systems needed to combine both tools and data and needed to be simple in their operation.

After many years of Research and Development, CostEng has developed these very unique software tools with on-line databases.   The intellectual property is now the subject of patents granted in the USA, Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong and Europe.
